I am a Performance Optimist… which means that I am a trainer/speaker/facilitator who believes that there are always solutions to the behavioral or performance issues you and your teams may be facing… we just have to look in the right place to find them.

How did I get here?
In 1988, I was a high school senior looking for a summer job. My Mom saw that a local amusement park was hiring and suggested I go fill out an application. I rebelled at first, but reluctantly took Mom’s advice. I ended up working with that company for 10 years, holding a number of leadership roles and learning many life lessons along the way. Thanks, Mom!
My career and learning continued as I moved around the industry with stints in Minnesota and Connecticut, until finally landing at Universal Orlando Resort in 2003. For 8 years I was responsible for leadership development at one of the largest theme park properties on the planet. Whoa.
And now…
My goal is simple. I want to help you… the business owner, leader, manager, or supervisor to make sure you are getting the most out of yourself and the people you work with. This may look very different depending on what’s going on and the desired outcome. We could decide on a large format session where everyone is brought together, we could do smaller team building workshops or we may decide that one-on-one coaching is the right way to go. Or, it could be none of the above. The bottom line is that we will find the solution that is right for you.
One thing you can count on is that I will ask you a lot of questions. I need to find out what is going on, what you are seeing, and what’s behind what’s going on and what you are seeing. That’s the only way we can get down to the real reason you emailed me or picked up the phone.
