Hear me out on this. I think the phrase “there’s no ‘I’ in team” could be working AGAINST our efforts to build successful and cohesive organizations. More accurately, the way our brain can interpret this phrase could be standing in the way of amazing team-related breakthroughs.
I re-looked at the word teamwork and still didn’t find an ‘i’, but I did find ‘me’ and ‘we’. This is how I think those words can help us build better teams.
